The disc mill comprises a revolving (30) and a stationary (12) grinding disc. The revolving grinding disc (30) is arranged on a shaft. In both grinding discs (12, 30), radial grooves are formed into which webs (67) of a hard material are inserted. Along these radial webs (67), rows of pockets (41-46 and 61-66) separated from one another by transverse fins (51, 52) are located. The width of the grinding gap present between the two grinding discs (30, 12) is determined by the webs (67) together with the transverse fins (51, 52). The webs of the revolving grinding disc (30) are of such a width that, during the revolving motion of the grinding disc, they momentarily cover the pockets (61-66) of the stationary disc (12). The grinding device comprises a housing 1f on which a fixed defibrating disc 2 is fixed, a rotary disk 3 f mounted drive shaft 4 on which a ring with blades 5 is mounted. The defibrating disks 2 and 3 have three concentric defibration zones b, 7 and 8 (see figure 1). The working surfaces of the plates are located in the same plane with the end surfaces of the jumpers 11 of the valleys 9. The disk 2 has a channel 12 for supplying water to the defibration zone 8, the casing is made with a hole 13 for feeding material, and the drive shaft 4 is made with a nipple 14 .. Figures 4-6 show the change in the relative position of the plates and pits of the disc when the disc 3 is rotated. FIG. 7 shows an embodiment in which the pits 9 of the fixed disc 2 have a profile of a segment and the section of the pits 9 of the disc 3 rotatably mounted has a straight line at chapters, passing into a curvilinear in the zone of entry of the material. The device works as follows. The material to be processed is fed through the opening 13 and is moved by the screw 14. The ring with blades, rotating with the shaft 4, feeds chips into the defibration zone b The material passes successively through the defibration zones b, 7 and 8, and the degree of grinding increases. In zone 8, the material successively passes through concentric rows of cavities 9. Temperature is maintained during the grinding process. By reducing the & material content, through apertures 13: water is supplied, the amount of which can be adjusted automatically. This design of the working surface of the defibrating discs improves the quality of grinding. by creating a large number of friction surfaces within the material being processed. The design of the plates ensures their replacement when the cutting edges are worn. The use of this device provides a reduction in energy consumption required for grinding.
